Steven graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at the National University of Singapore with a B.Eng (First Class Honours). He ranked first in his cohort in the semiconductor specialization and was awarded the National Semiconductor Book Prize. He has lived in Singapore for over 20 years and is a Singapore citizen.
He previously worked in government agencies, including the Central Provident Fund Board (CPF Board) and the Housing & Development Board (HDB), as well as in private companies in Singapore such as United Overseas Bank (UOB) and Yonyou Software Singapore. He has more than 10 years of experience in business development.
He maintains close ties with Chinese government agencies in Singapore, the Singapore Chinese New Immigrants Chamber of Commerce, local Singapore chambers of commerce, industry associations, and financial institutions. He has extensive networks and resources to facilitate in-depth business matchmaking and strategic partnerships.
